On Wednesday afternoon I took on my biggest job yet: a family of twelve. Seven kids and all the adults (moms, dads, uncles, grandmas, etc.) to go with them. I have to admit. I was a little nervous. I am not typically set up for such a large group. But there was no way I was going to let this family down.
I met Suzie originally doing some of my Anue Salon photo shoots. So I was thrilled when she contacted me to photograph her family when they were all getting together for Thanksgiving. What a fun holiday!
Planning was very important because some of the family members were in all the way from Japan. They serve overseas in the military and they were home for the holidays. There were also family in from Florida as well...I had to make sure I was able to capture all of them together since they had all made such an effort to be here for Thanksgiving. And it was a hoot. So many personalities and characters. And I am a sucker for a cute photograph of a baby... so I was all in from the moment the girls showed up in matching tutus.
There are so many combinations of people and kids and so many names (and if you know me you know I am HORRIBLE at remembering names...which really doesn't help me at all considering I am a teacher and I have to learn 130 names each school year). So, I will simply let the photos of the kooky bunch of folks speak for themselves. Thanks guys, for letting me invade your garage!
