Rebecca's Senior Portraits

Ok, so you know the drill. Old CBS logo still in use...new name: Whitney Flora Photography. But let us not detract from Rebecca's stunning senior session. This girl is a hoot! I think if I was in high school this is the kind of girl I would be friends with, for sure. And not because we share a love of sunglasses.

We started our day at one of Rebecca's favorite spots: Allsop Park. I think it is really important to photograph people in places that mean something to them. Photos should tell a story, and the story means more if the photos are taken in a place that helps tell the story of your life. Allsop Park is part of her life.

After Allsop we took a trip downtown and found some beautiful trees that we couldn't leave behind at the Heifer International Village. Besides being a really cool building with lovely gardens Heifer Village is neat because the entire building is "green" in the best sense. The design is amazing.

After that we just puttered around and had fun. We visited an old office building owned by her family, we rode a large metal rabbit and eventually ended up in a fountain. Don't worry... I got in there too. I wouldn't make her stand in the freezing water alone. I get down and dirty with the best of them... or cold and wet in this case, I guess. But it was totally worth it.

Rebecca was so much fun to work with. Senior sessions are always great. I am used to being around high school students (since my day job is teacher... it just makes sense). But getting to spend time with teenagers away from school and being the "boss" is really fun. The tables are turned and I just get to enjoy these kids for the awesome and entertaining people they are becoming. Thanks, Rebecca, for being so fun!
